In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with innovative startups and work on impactful sustainability projects. As a Business Development Intern, you’ll play a key role in identifying business opportunities, seeking grants and RFPs, building partnerships, and contributing to Ecoxyztem’s mission of solving climate challenges at scale.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and business opportunities

• Proactively search for relevant grants, RFPs, and funding opportunities aligned with Ecoxyztem's goals

• Assist in preparing high-quality proposals and applications for grants and RFPs, ensuring compliance with funders’ requirements

• Support the development and nurturing of partnerships with stakeholders, including startups, investors, and clients

• Organise and maintain client, partner, and funding opportunity databases to ensure efficient communication and follow-ups

• Work closely with internal teams to align strategies and maximize impact

Requirements

• Open to all academic backgrounds, preferably final-year students or fresh graduates with a passion for sustainability and business development

• Some experience in business development, market research, grants, or project coordination (through internships or academic projects)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and writing skills for grant proposals and RFP responses

• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, startup environment

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, project management tools, and basic understanding of grant/RFP platforms

Responsibilities

• Financial Modeling & Analysis: Build financial models that assist startups with budgeting, forecasting, and assessing unit economics.

• Business Model Development: Work with startups to refine revenue strategies and assess profitability.
