Ecoxyztem is currently conducting in-depth, end-to-end research on green energy technologies to uncover market potential and assess ecosystem readiness, with a strong focus on the electric vehicle (EV) battery and solar photovoltaic (Solar PV) value chains. As we expand this work, we are looking for a motivated researcher to join our team and contribute to shaping the future of clean energy innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, economics, environmental studies, energy systems, business, or a related field

  • 1–4 years of experience in research, consulting, investment, sustainability, energy, or climate-related roles (fresh graduates with strong analytical skills are encouraged to apply)

  • Strong understanding of energy transition topics, particularly EVs, batteries, renewable energy, or clean technology ecosystems

  • Experience working with data, market research, or ecosystem analysis is highly desirable

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia & English

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple workstreams

Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end research and mapping of green energy technologies, with a focus on EV battery and Solar PV value chains

  • Analyze market potential, demand drivers, and commercial viability across different segments of the value chain

  • Assess ecosystem readiness, including supply chain maturity, infrastructure, regulatory landscape, talent availability, and investment dynamics

  • Plan and conduct interviews with key stakeholders, including industry players, technology providers, policymakers, investors, and ecosystem enablers, to gather primary insights and validate research findings

  • Collect, synthesize, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data from primary and secondary sources, including industry reports, expert interviews, and policy documents

  • Translate research findings into structured outputs such as market maps, ecosystem frameworks, insight briefs, and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, including startups, corporates, investors, development institutions, and research organizations

  • Contribute to stakeholder discussions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions related to energy transition and climate technologies
